Lagenandra ‘Tenkasi’ is a native of South India. In 2009, the ‘Sreepadma’ plants expedition team located this plant in South India and propagated it through tissue culture. Now we are proud to introduce this rare and beautiful aquarium plant to the hobbyist in India. The plant name is not scientific; just a trade name used by Sreepadma with reference to the location it was found. This plant can be grown in low and high tech aquariums and has a beautiful narrow leaf shape and a red-bronze color. A rich substrate is beneficial & micronutrient fertilization is required for healthy reddish growth.
